For writers seeking a community where their words are held with care

Your heart pounds as you start to read aloud – eyes fixed on your paper, voice trembling. But when you look up? You see understanding in the faces around you.

Your shoulders soften. Your breath deepens. Your voice strengthens.

You remember what writing felt like before judgment crept in

Your memories of loss need gentle soil to take root, not harsh feedback before they've had a chance to unfold.

Traditional workshops often rush to judgment – dissecting technique when the heart of the piece has yet to emerge. At Wildflowers Are Prayers, we honor both craft and courage.

Technical feedback has its place, but only after we embrace that childlike sense of wonder where anything feels possible on a blank page.

Your stories of hope deserve more than editorial ‘critique’ without heart-led witnessing

Your Community founder & writing guide

Trivarna Hariharan

My writing journey began with fairytales – rewriting classic narratives into origin stories that made sense of my world. But poetry called me deeper,  showing me how to draw meaning from mystery and uncertainty.

Through my university studies, I strengthened my understanding of craft and technique. But as I moved through countless writing programs, I noticed how often technical feedback overshadowed emotional truth.

That's why Wildflowers Are Prayers is different.

It's a space where technical growth and emotional exploration coexist, and where we've put the heart back into feedback to nurture your voice.

Guiding principles

Writing has the power to transform, heal, and illuminate. And the best writing emerges when you feel safe enough to experiment, supported enough to stumble, and inspired enough to try again.

empathy

Before feedback flows, we pause to honor the heart that wrote these words and celebrate the courage that brought hidden stories to light.

Curiosity

By asking gentle ‘what if’ questions, we help writers discover new possibilities in their work while letting their instincts guide the way.

Safety

In this judgment-free sanctuary, writers take creative risks, knowing they're met with understanding and support at every step.
